#iGiveCatholic

We are excited to announce that Saint Joseph Grade School, in collaboration with our diocese and the Catholic Community Foundation of Northeast Indiana, is participating in the #iGiveCatholic Day of Giving on Giving Tuesday, November 30. Advanced giving begins November 15!

You can make a gift online at fwsb.igivecatholic.org (click the donate now button below), or contribute anytime via cash or check by mailing your gift to the Saint Joseph Parish office at 711 E. Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN 46617.

All of the proceeds we collect on this day of giving will support the SJGS Excellence Fund, which is the annual fund that helps our parish school live out its mission of educating hearts and minds in the Holy Cross tradition, making God known, loved, and served.

Your gift will help fund new learning materials, curriculum and program enhancements, faith development and service learning initiatives, enrichment opportunities, and professional development for our teachers.

One such highlight at SJGS is our new Virtues in Practice program for our Pre-K through 8th grade, which covers 27 virtues over a three-year cycle, with 81 saints held up as models of the virtues. The Nashville Dominican Sisters that developed this program personally trained our teachers, and parent guidebooks were sent home with each school family to aid in their learning. It is your gifts that help fund wonderful programs like these…and much more!

Thank you for “Giving Catholic” on Giving Tuesday this year in support of SJGS! If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Sean Kennedy at skennedy@stjoeparish.com or 574-234-3134, x. 117.
