Admissions Introduction
Saint Joseph Preschool admissions are operated separately from grades K-8 admissions at Saint Joseph Grade School. Enrollment in the preschool has no effect on admission into the grade school. There will be no correlation insofar as gaining an advantage from attending the preschool or suffering a disadvantage from not attending the preschool when it comes to the K-8 application at SJGS.
Enrollment priority for our Preschool 3/4, 4/5, and 5/6 programs begins with currently enrolled preschool families and registered and active members of Saint Joseph Parish, as determined by the Pastor. Enrollment priority for our Infant/Toddler Program begins with children of employees of Saint Joseph Church & School.
Eligibility
Infant/Toddler Program: children ages three months to three years.
3/4 Program: children must turn three before August 1 of the year of enrollment, and be fully potty trained.
Pre-K 4/5 Program: children must turn four before August 1 of the year of enrollment.
Pre-K 5/6 Program: placement priority begins with children who are five by December 31 of the year of enrollment.

Submit Application Deposit
A non-refundable Registration Fee of $175 per student applying for full-day or $100 for half-day ($175 total per family for multiple children) is due along with Online Registration for our 3/4, 4/5, and 5/6 Programs. A fee of $175 is due along with Online Registration for those applying for the Infant/Toddler Program. Checks can be dropped off or mailed to Saint Joseph Preschool (711 E. Colfax Ave., South Bend, IN 46617).
The Registration Fee is refundable only if a spot cannot be reserved for your child at Saint Joseph Preschool.
