Dear Parents,

As directed by the diocese, beginning Monday, we will be closing our school building through spring break. As of now, our students will be scheduled to return to the building on Tuesday, April 14. Please note that this date is subject to change.

All school activities will be canceled or postponed until further notice, beginning at 3:00pm on Friday, March 13.

We will provide extended learning instruction during our time away from the building. Our faculty and staff are currently finalizing exact details of what this extended learning will look like during our lengthened time away from the building. Children will be bringing home additional materials, and we will communicate more details to parents on Monday, March 16. Learning days will not begin until after this communication on Monday.

Also on Monday, March 16, from 9-11am, we will offer a pickup period at the gym door for the following:

  • For those children who are not at school on Friday, March 13, extended learning materials will be available.
  • Extended learning will likely occur on alternate days, which will help accommodate families with limited technology. However, for those who feel they need additional devices to accommodate any electronic extended learning, we will have a Chromebook checkout. Please signup online here.

Fr. Kevin would also like to draw your attention to a directive by Bishop Rhoades dispensing Catholics in our diocese from an obligation to attend Sunday Mass. We especially encourage elderly and high-risk individuals (immunocompromised or having chronic health conditions), or those who may come in contact with them, to not attend. Please see the diosecan website for more details.

Parents may view the diocesan press release regarding school closings. View more information on COVID-19 at the ISDH website and the CDC website.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support as we continue to work through this situation. We will continue to provide updates to the school community.

Please know of our prayers for you and your family, and please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.
