Welcome to SJGS!

“Let us, then, stand in closely united ranks and, far from separating and scattering, let us live in such a manner that, as it sees the members of our family, the world may say of us as the Gentiles said of the first Christians: ‘See how they love one another!’” ~Blessed Basil Moreau

Greetings!

On behalf of Father Kevin, our teachers, and our staff, I welcome you to SJGS! I am humbled and grateful for the opportunity to serve as principal here at Saint Joseph Grade School. Our mission is to educate hearts and minds with the wonderful values and tradition bestowed to us by the Congregation of Holy Cross. I look forward to making this mission come alive by working with such a dedicated, zealous team of educators.

The value of family is of the utmost importance in achieving our mission here at SJGS. We aspire to grow as a family, nurturing our bonds with positive attitudes, patience, and Christ-like behaviors towards each other. My own family and I have called St. Joe parish and school our home for over 10 years. It is my hope that all who become part of our community witness the kindness and welcoming spirit for which St. Joe is known!

Parents, I thank you for sharing your wonderful children with us each day! You are the first and primary educators in a child’s life, and we look forward to working closely with you to be an extension of that formation. I hope you will call, write, or stop by the school occasionally. Our team here in the office loves the opportunity to learn more about our families!

Our students, families, and teachers are continuously in my prayers. I ask for your prayers, also, as we work together in making God known, loved, and served in all that we do.

Grace and Blessings,

Mr. George Azar
Principal
