Saint Joseph Grade School Chess Club
The SJGS Chess Club is open to students in grades 1-8, from beginners to expert players. Participants will learn and practice strategies of chess in preparation for tournament play. After a hiatus of several years, the club reorganized in spring 2013 with much success - over 30 students participated!
Fall 2014 Season
Chess Club begins Friday, October 10, and concludes with a scholastic tournament in Fort Wayne on Saturday, November 8. View the Fall 2014 Chess Club Flyer for more information. Cost is $60 per child and includes United States Chess Federation (USCF) Membership, tournament entry fee, snacks, and supplies.
